America's Cup Winner's Through The Years

America's Cup Winner's Through The Years

For one of our reading activity's we had to add up how many times America, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Australia won the America's Cup. The information we had to collect was the defenders, challengers and how many times each country won. We had to add up all of our information on a google sheet, table, etc. I chose to put my information onto a google sheet. After adding up all of my information I put all of it into a pie chart. Here is my work.

Link to my google sheet with the information on it. Click Here.

Ordering Decimals Screencastify

 Ordering Decimals Screencastify

For our maths this week we learnt about ordering decimals. We had 3 different practice sheets that we had to complete about ordering decimals. After we finished doing those practice sheets we had to make a screencastify explaining how to order decimals. I have finished my practice sheets and making my screenscastify. Here it is. Have you ever ordered decimals.

Manu Characterisation

 Manu Characterisation

For our writing/storytelling we have listened to a book called 'The Way Finder' its about a boy and his tribe having to leave there island because they had no food or water. So they sailed along the sea to find a new island. But in the middle of the story there is a massive storm and Manu's brother (the way finder) gets hit with a paddle and dies. Then Manu becomes the new way finder and has to look for a new island. For our characterisation we had to list down 12 things that we think Manu would look like and we passed our book to someone else and they would draw him. I passed my book to my friend Tiare and she drew Manu from all 12 things I described about him. These are things I said I thought Manu would look like. Dark tan skin, freckles, short, big eyes, small ears, bushy eyebrows, short beard, big smile, skinny, brown hair, blue eyes, and mid - length hair. Here is her drawing. Have you ever heard of the book 'The Way Finder'?
