Day 5, Activity 3: Own Choice

For this activity, please choose one person (a changemaker) and read all about them.

On your blog, provide us with:

1. The name of the person

The name of the person is Jessica Watson.

Jessica's job that she does right on this day is sailing.  Jessica is a sailor.

She has told a lot of people that anything is possible and never give up if you have a goal and you have not reached it.  She even wrote a book called true spirit to tell people about her life about being a sailor and about Jessica sailing around the whole world solo.

Day 5,  Activity 2: Swimming to Safety

For this activity, listen to the podcast of Yusra Mardini, or read her story on her personal website.

On your blog, retell the story of this amazing young woman from Syria.

When I started to read I knew that she was an amazing person.  She really loves to swim and it was amazing that she saved 20 people's lives by swimming that is just amazing.  She was only eighteen when she started swimming.  She was born on  March 5th, 1998 and on this she is twenty-one and she stills loves to swim.

DAY 3: TEAM PLAYERS Activity 1: Rugby Superstars

DAY 3: TEAM PLAYERS Activity 1: Rugby Superstars

For this activity, let’s imagine that you could be a superhero for a day. What three superpowers would you most like to have?

On my blog, I had to list the three superpowers, I had to write why I would want each of those superpowers and I had to write about each one of them.

1.  Flying.  I would love to have the power to fly because it would be really cool to not have to use my legs and I could get places so much faster.

2.  Speed walking.  I would love to have the power to speed walk because it is a power that I have always dreamed of having because it sounds really cool.

3.  Being invisible.  I would like to have the power to turn invisible because it sounds really cool to turn invisible while just doing something and then I just turn invisible.

I did something brave when I was about 2 or 3 its when I lived in Dueniden what I did was I went down a massive hill on a bike I did that because everyone else was doing it and I was scared at first but when I did it the first time I was scared for that but every other time after that I loved it so much.  My family was so proud of me when I did it and it was fun.
